Paddock Cottage – Sleeps 2
This charming cottage offers a true home from home. The cottage was originally the Coach House and apple store but has been beautifully renovated to offer quality accommodation. The house boasts stunning views and offers a tranquil retreat to stay in.Downstairs there is a spacious sitting room with comfortable seating and a TV, a great spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The ground floor also has a shower room and WC. Upstairs there are two beautiful bedrooms: a king and double room. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath. All bed linen and towels are included.
Garden Cottage – Sleeps 2
Our newly renovated cottage is brimming with natural light and has a delightful south westerly facing enclosed garden with a patio. A fantastic space for al fresco dining whilst savouring the views. Inside there is stylish artwork and interiors from local and national designers and artists.Downstairs there is a large open plan living/kitchen/dining space. Catch your favourite show in front of the TV or cook a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Additionally, there is a ground floor WC. Upstairs there are two attractive bedrooms, a king and a super king. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Guests are welcome to relax in Kierfiold Garden, a nationally recognised garden which has featured in the Scottish Field, Scotland on Sunday and BBC’s Beechgrove Garden and is included in the books ‘Island Garden’, by Jackie Bennet, and ‘Scotland for Gardeners’ by Ken Cox.
Visiting Sandwich & Exploring Orkney
We are in a brilliant position for exploring the area. A relaxing evening stroll (1 mile) will take you to Skaill Bay, home to the renowned Skara Brae village and long sandy beach. Only 10 minutes away is Stromness which is set on the shore of Hamnavoe and the main ferry port to Orkney. Stroll around the atmospheric alleys and browse the shops. Take a pit stop at one of the cafes and enjoy a fascinating day out at Stromness Museum. Further attractions to visit include:Pier Arts Centre.
